The brief was to design a piece of communication to promote their bra fitting service. A lot of women don't enjoy going for a bra fitting so I wanted to show some painful/daft/time consuming things women do to make themselves look/feel beautiful and compare that with how easy it is to go for a bra fitting! It's a comedy about an accountant who longs to be an artist. Nobody understands his work, so he moves to Paris to become a painter. He doesn't fit in at home in London with the suited, bowler hat wearing bankers, but he sticks out when he arrives in Paris among the beautiful black haired beatniks. All these character types were so interesting it was something I decided to focus on. The story is set during World War Two and a husband is calling his wife to tell her that he's coming home for 24 hour leave. The story differs slightly from my animation, but I've focused on the wife's excited preparation for her husband's visit.
